We chose to stay at the barn due to its exceptional view, and we were not disappointed. Even during rainy and foggy days, watching the reservoir emerge and vanish from the fog was truly mesmerizing. The warm and cozy interior provided a perfect retreat after wet walks, allowing us to admire the sheep, geese, and pheasants from the comfort of our room. The tranquil rural location, combined with nearby attractions like Druids Temple and Fountains Abbey, made our stay at Pott Hall absolutely great. The personal touches, such as a delicious chocolate cake and fresh bread upon arrival, made us feel incredibly welcomed.
Recommend this hotel.

The space and decor were lovely and really made our stay enjoyable. the fresh flowers and welcome card were a nice touch. We also appreciated the home baked bread and scones that were provided upon arrival. the location was beautiful, with breathtaking scenery and great walks nearby. the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed.
There were a lot of cobwebs in the nooks and crannies, which could have been improved with better dusting. the damp on the stairs wall was off-putting, and the shower door seal leaked, making the bathroom floor slippery for the kids.

We stayed at this beautiful countryside retreat and were blown away by the breathtaking view of the reservoir. The tranquility and rural location provided the perfect escape from city life. The barn itself was warm and cozy, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised by the fresh bread and homemade scones left for us. Despite a few small niggles like some dirty cutlery and a flaking paint on the wall, our overall experience was fantastic. We especially loved watching the reservoir appear and disappear in the fog, and the nearby attractions like Druids Temple and Fountains Abbey were amazing. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
